What We Believe

We are a small, but with big potential church in the heart of Union Center/Endicott NY. Passionate about seeing the lives of the world and our neighbors transformed in the name of Christ. What is the cross? In the world full of darkness and sin, it is the story of new life and blessings that our righteous Lord gave to us by washing all our sins and deaths away to “zero”. Therefore, our vision is to love God, love our neighbors, and to serve the world. Our mission is to believe in the power of that “zero” and to make a disciples of men.

Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Kook Family
Pastor Jeahyun Kook was born in Korea and raised by devout Methodist Christian parents. He became a Christian by birth and later by faith. Young as he was, he realized that the new life in Christ made a difference in the transformation of our life and that all of this was by grace. Since then, he has highly taken this religious principle as a code of conduct to guide his life choices, as well as to convey it in his ministry.

Pastor J believes that sermons are alive and worship is vibrant. His passion is to help church members to be storytellers for Jesus Christ; as God has a story to tell, and God calls us to share that story to be a blessing to all nations and to people, rather than only staying within a personal boundary.
He grew up in Korea and received his BA from the Methodist Theological University, Masters from Great Britain and the United States, and is currently in the process of receiving his doctoral degree in Drew Theological School in NJ.

He enjoys going hiking and every sport with his children, as well as reading and watching movies.
His favorite verses: Romans 1: 16: For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile and Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers

Family members: Pastor Kook and his wife Mia have two boys, Sun Woo and Yejun and daughter Hawon.
